How does Shakespeare present attitudes to conflict in the prologue?
Here, Shakespeare employs the phrase ‘warlike Harry’ to imply how the King is perceived as brave and courageous. Furthermore, he is likened to the Roman God of War, ‘assume the Port of Mars’ to reinforce the idea that King Henry is a battle-hardened and committed leader.
