The Architect shall provide an energy model and appropriate revisions in support of the LEED Certification.The energy model assumptions, basis and performance anticipated shall be provided to the Owner for reviewand concurrence during Design Development and prior to submission to GBCI. The final energy model datafiles shall be provided for the owner's records and future use.

The Architect shall review requests by the Owner, Owner's consultants or Contractor for changes in Workrelated to LEED certification.

The Architect shall review all proposed changes in the Work to determine if the implementation of therequested change will impact LEED certification requirements. The Architect shall notify the Owner of theirfindings and provide recommendations to the Owner.

The Architect shall identify, in thebid documents, those construction credits from which the Contractor shall select to pursue and shall identify the minimum numberof credits that the Contractor must obtain. The Architect, with the Owners approval, shall establish contractual responsibilities andpenalties should the contractor not achieve the credits under its responsibility. The Architect shall include the target credits in the biddocuments and shall establish values for each credit in the schedule of values under the Contractor's responsibility.

The Architect shall notify the Owner when Additional Services beyond the LEED Certification Services stated herein are anticipated. The Architect shall not provide Additional LEED Services beyond those identified in this agreement until the Architect receives the Owner's written authorization.
