For successful results the “HemaBlock 5-Step R.A.P.I.D. Application Procedure” should be followed.

R.A.P.I.D.Remove excess blood to easily identify bleeders and allow applying HemaBlock Powder directly on the active bleeders.

R.A.P.I.D.Apply liberal amount of HemaBlock Powder on the bleeders.

• Be sure to completely cover the bleeding area.

• Deep wounds like biopsy may require equally deep application of powder.

R.A.P.I.D.Pressure Enough pressure needs to be applied to stop the flow of the bleeders for approximately 1 to 2 minutes to allow time for HemaBlock Powder to create the clot.

• Use gloved finger or non-stick pad to hold pressure

R.A.P.I.D.Irrigate the wound area with saline solution to remove excess powder to check for bleeders might have missed and visualize hemostasis.
