Marlene and hubby Trevor runs this soup kitchen and she serves 110 homeless people a hot cup of soup every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Thanks Marlene & Trevor for the wonderful work you are doing for the homeless.

29 Jun: Donations: Ncedelunthu Educare Centre & Colleens Place of HopeThanks to generous donations Helping Angels were able to give Florence from Ncedelunthu in Mfuleni a R1000 donation towards buying groceries for the children in their care, and R500 went to Colleen’s Place of Hope in Mitchells Plain. Thanks Moshe Adir for your continued support, Colleen appreciated this so much!

27 Jun: Dream Day at BottelaryThere was 190 children and adults that attended the feeding scheme this Sunday, and Helping Angels and 00HEAVEN worked together to create special memories for a few ‘heroes’ that form part of our Bottelary Farm Project. 9 special farm children and 2 adult farm workers had the chance to take a scenic drive in a limo and to be treated like royalty on a red carpet! We would also like to thank NS Promotions for arranging for

Simba the lion to attend this Dream Day! The kids loved having their photos taken with Simba as well as the face painting and Simba hats! We hope that this would motivate these special children to dream about a better future!

25 Jun: SOS trip to Villiersdorp SOS Wild sponsored us to take 100 farm children on the experience of a lifetime, a day outing to the SOS camp in Villiersdorp. We thank them for creating this opportunity for the children to learn more about nature, about teambuilding and for all the lovely food and spoils that they bestowed upon us. A big thanks to Hettie & Kobus for sponsoring the bus fare that enabled us to take the kids on this trip, thanks to Eljo SA for the reduced bus fare
