Hello students!

Hello students! If you've made it to this PowerPoint, you've made it to this week's activities! Yay! Each week you will have access to a new literacy PowerPoint. This way, all the LA information you need for the week comes from one direct spot, here! On slide 3 there is a 'choice board'. We encourage you to complete at least 5 of the 8 choices each week. Some choices you may need the computer for, while others you may need a printer, loose-leaf, or partner. We tried to make a variety of activities as we understand that each household is different, and not built like a classroom. If you are unable to do activities, THAT IS OKAY! If you have to write down questions on loose-leaf because you can't print, THAT IS OKAY! Please do not worry, and just do what you can! As always, your teachers are a call, message or Edmodo away. You can contact us for assistance any time during office hours from 10:30-3:00 and on Friday, 10:30-11:30. (Or if you just want to check in and chat!)

Our First Unit of Focus: READING

Reading every day is very important! If you have brothers or sisters who also need the computer, you can always do DEAR (drop everything and read). Another option is to journal. If you don't have a journal yet, this is a perfect time to start this. It is a great place to pour your thoughts and feelings. Or write a letter to someone, even if you don't mail it, just get writing!___________________________________________________________________
