Think about some ‘big’ feelings that you know or have felt e.g. frightened, petrified, anxious, scared. Explore the facial expressions and body language that goes with them.

Create a painting or a drawing to represent one or more of the feelings. What makes it different to other feelings? How big is it? What colour is it? What texture is it? Think about when people may feel like this. For example: ‘Someone might feel frightened when the light gets

Have you ever experienced disappointment? For example, I worked very hard on my spellings but I didn’t get them all right. I am very disappointed with myself.

When you have thought of some strategies that could help you, draw round your hand on some paper several times. Cut them out. Write the different strategies on different hands. Create a helping hands wall, or picture!
