As per your request on how to add options on product I have prepared this walk through that will help you with the same.

Once you are logged into the admin panel go to the product page and edit any product.

Once you click on edit you will have the same layout as below:

Now click on Custom options in the left menu.

Then you will have same layout as below:

Click on Add New option on top right of the box.

And a box will appear then and set the input type to drop down and then you can add as many value you want and these will be automatically visible on the products on front end.
