WE COLLABORATED WITH PANDORA AT THE HANGOUT MUSIC FESTIVAL TO HELP FESTIVALGOERS INTERACT WITH MUSIC IN A NEW WAY, AND DEEPEN THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH PANDORA.Users were randomly given a song to l isten to. Using facetracking technology, we gauged the user’s response to the music. Based on the user’s expression, we could tel l how the music was making them feel. We translated that data into a colorful v isual representat ion: their Musical Aura. Par t ic ipants watched in realt ime as their innermost thoughts about music blossomed into colorful aura clouds onscreen. At the end of the exper ience, we recommended fest ival ar t ists based their musical tastes” And users were able to instant ly share their exper ience on social networks and received a physical pr int. The result was over 700 unique, personal ized, and shareable musical exper iences, with an social media reach of over 106,000.
