Heelys are the original wheeled shoe, invented by Californian rollerskater Roger Adams and sold across 30 different countries since 2001. And now they’re back, bigger and better than ever before.

Since their explosive launch in the UK, Heelys have continued to evolve and now offer a fantastic range of single and two wheeled shoes in a number of different styles and sizes.

The Story

We anticipate in excess of 100k pairs of Heelys being sold across 2012 and the following pages will give you more detail on the range and pricing. Great new styles and colours mean that there’s something for everyone – we love them and hope you will too.

Spring/SummerHeelys are the two-in-one shoe that lets you take life at your own pace...

Heelys are the original two-in-one shoe. You can pop the wheels in or out quickly and easily, so that you can roll and glide or simply wear as trainers. Either way they’re durable and fun!

We now offer a range of single wheel and two wheel shoes. Both are easy to ride and are great for co-ordination and balance. The two wheel shoes are particularly good for first-time skaters, because two wheels provide more stability. Once the skater is ready for one wheel, the smaller wheel can easily be removed, turning them into a normal pair of Heelys.

Marketing

Marketing Support Fall/Winter 2012Our Marketing team are working as hard as ever on Heelys in this key sales period. Key areas of focus include:

• TV campaign breaking on October 29th to coincide with half term and will run through until November 25th. We’ll be running ads on the best performing channels for our target audience which are Nickelodeon, Nick Replay, Popgirl and Kix

• Live event at the Metro Centre, Gateshead on October 20th – an award winning dance troupe will be putting Heelys through their paces and encouraging everyone to get involved

•Digital advertising: Pre rolls on key websites (eg Cartoon Network, Boomerang) post TV campaign will ensure maximum brand exposure

• PR: Our agency are working with key publications/tv shows/websites to get Heelys listed in as many Christmas Gift Guides as are available
