A Beginners Guide

A ping is a social content user created post. Share what you’re doing by posting photos, video, and text. SMS and location posts are coming soon.

An echo is a re-pinging of another user’s ping. If you see a ping you like simply echo it to share it with your listeners.

ListenWhen you listen to another user their pings will show up in your feed. You can listen to friends, business partners, celebrities, and even family. Heello makes communication simple, effective, and fun!

Site Layout

1. Clicking the Heello logo takes you back to your homepage.2. Clicking “New Ping” allows you to post social content. 3. The home button will take you to your Heello homepage.4. The profile button will take you to your Heello profile.5. The message button will take you to your private individual/group chats.6. The search button will take you to Heello.com’s search engine. 7. Clicking your username will take you to your settings and log out buttons.8. The ping stream will show all pings by users you are currently listening to.9. The reply stream will show any mentions or replies to your pings.10. The “What’s Happening?” feed will show a live stream of all pings being posted.11. Attach a picture to your ping with the camera button.

Under the settings tab on your dashboard you will find your profile

settings page. On this page you can edit your profile

picture, biography, and basic information.

The “Customize” tab on the settings page allows you to chose a

background and colors for your user profile.

Filter Settings

Be sure to adjust your filter settings to the

relevant language you want to see appear in your

“What’s Happening” Feed. Choose your native

language or learn a new one by communicating

with international members!

Ping Feed

The Ping Feed shows all of the recent pings by the other users you

are listening to. The more people you listen to, the more alive your

feed will become. Try to listen to people who have the same

interests as you, or those who seem like they’d give you a good

laugh. Your Ping Feed is what you make it out to be!

Reply Feed

The reply feed shows any mention of your username

on the site, as well as any replies made on your pings.

Think of it as a notification system.

What’s Happening Feed

The What’s Happening Feed is an up-to-the-second live feed of

every ping being posted by all other users on Heello. The What’s

Happening Feed is a fun way to meet new friends or discover

new things.

Private Messaging

Heello makes it easy for you to communicate with other users. Create an individual chat with one user or a group chat with all of your friends!

Simply click the message icon on the dashboard to start a new private chat.

Now what?To get started, take a look at

another’s user’s listeners. Add

new and interesting people so you

can hear their pings! The more

people you listen to, the more

entertaining your Ping Feed will

be.
