Available for delivery is a second-user SMD designed and manufactured heavy duty plough. This 500m rated plough with 80Te bollard pull comes complete with surface control system, umbilical winch, cable and spares. The plough is based upon the successful and proven MD-3 plough and utilises the most recent trenching technology in the market place. The asset is in good working condition and available with the control system, umbilical winch and cable in excellent condition. Unlike other second-hand user systems, the asset will come with SMD’s original equipment manufacturers warranty and will be supplied after a full workshop test programme. A full spares package will be included as standard. The equipment is available Ex-Works, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK (Incoterms® 2010) on flexible terms with operational and maintenance staff, if required. It can handle a range of flexible products up to 200mm diameter with a 3.0m MBR.The plough is available in it’s original configuration with options available to repurpose the equipment for protection of either submarine telecommunication cables or small power cables or umbilicals.
