Trainee must complete a four-year program including 6000 workplace hours
720 in-school hours of training At BCIT, Okanagan Collage Requirements are proof of a letter grade
of “C” in English 11, or English 12, or EFP, and Apprenticeship and Workplace Math 11
A duel credit program at a Collage or Technical school ,the admission fee is paid for by the government
Admission is around $4000 Books are around $1000
Minimum 8 hour days 5 days a week $30-$200 an hour
working conditions are usually tough 90% of the work is done outside and
shifts are year round includes lifting parts 100 lbs plus and
using heavy tools the chance of bones getting crushed
very easy
