The total cost of a pump includes not only purchaseprice, but cost of operation: power costs, reliability, ease and frequency of maintenance. Whenever a pump is needed, it is worthwhile tocarefully evaluate all these factors. Also consider theversatility, coverage, and parts interchangeability, where a number of pumps are to bepurchased. To meet these needs, choose TKL Hydro-Titancentrifugal pumpsdesigned and built forhigh performance andreliable pumpingover a broad rangeof applicationsand operatingconditions.

Benefits• Back pullout for quick andeasy maintenance, allowinggood access to all parts, withoutdisturbing piping or driver.

• Low NPSH requirementsreduce system cost, allow highsuction lifts.• High pump efficiency atvarious operating pointsoptimises use of energy.• End suction design is theoptimum for small to mediumduty applications.• Maximum interchangeability ofparts over a range of pumpsizes reduces your spare partsstocking requirements.

Positioned forReliability

• Conforming with ISO2858 international standard means dimensional interchangeability with other makes of pumps.• Available in various material combinations withoptions to meet varying conditions of service.• ‘Built-in’ wear allowance. A full 3 mm extra metal has been added to the casing thickness to extendthe operating life.• Australian made.

Service AdvantageThe TKL Hydro-Titan pump is designedfor easy service requiring only commonhand tools. Routine inspections arequickly carried out. With the back pullout facility and thefitting of a spacer type coupling theentire rotating assembly can be removedwithout disturbing pipework or driver, giving instant access to most parts.Maintenance is therefore considerablysimplified, both in terms of time and inthe different trade skills required.

BACK COVER Separate for easypump servicing. ‘O’ ring seal forpositive connection to pump casing. The cover incorporates the stuffingbox and shaft seal arrangement.

STUFFING BOX Conforms toISO3069 and is fitted with softpacking, lantern ring and glandassembly. Mechanical seals areavailable as an option.

IMPELLER Double shrouded andhydraulically balanced design, keyedto shaft and locked with a stainlesssteel ‘Nyloc’ nut.

SHAFT Just three shaft groups coverthe entire range and all pumpscommon to one shaft group haveidentical bearings, stuffing box andimpeller fastening.

BEARING HOUSING Rigid one piececasting to secure back cover andcasing with large openings foraccess to stuffing box.

BEARINGS Two identical deepgroove ball bearings, sized for longlife and factory packed with lithiumbased grease. Protected by bearingcovers which are fitted with ‘V’ ringsto exclude dust and water.

OptionsThe standard TKL Hydro-Titan pumpcan be supplemented with optionsfor specific applications as follows:

SHAFT SLEEVESIn a variety of materials dependingon operating conditions.

MECHANICAL SEALS From variousmanufacturers, selected for optimumseal solution for hazardous fluids, abrasive fluids or high temperatureand pressure applications.

WEAR RINGS(Casing / Impeller) of the renewabletype in a variety of materials torefurbish running clearances quicklyand inexpensively.

FLANGE OPTIONSTo suit preferred pipework standardsincluding Australian, British, ANSI,ASA and other international codes.

STAINLESS STEEL BOLTINGFor situations where corrosion has tobe eliminated.

OIL LUBRICATIONFor bearings to suit above normaltemperature application or ifpreferred due to the operatingconditions.

BELT DRIVE FOOTFor an alternative drive arrangementvia a variable speed belt system.

NON-STANDARD ROTATIONCertain sizes are available with anti-clockwise rotation for coupling to thefront of a diesel engine.
