Installation

Appliance should be fitted as close as possible tothe entrance and the top of the door.

It is supplied with 2 supports.

Appliance is supplied with a template printed onthe carton box.

Drill the holes taking care to select the

correct length:

- 1035 mm for 1100 mm long model

- 1485 mm for 1550 mm long model

Fix the supports: screws with 6 mmdiameter are recommended

Engage the appliance into the grooveof the support.

Orientate the appliance according tothe needs. Tighten the 2 screws (6 mmdiameter).

Electric connection

Appliance must be connected by a qualified electrician according to the local regulations and standards.

Diameter of the wires and cutting power of the circuit breakers must match the following voltages:

Remove the front panel (the one with the air inlet grille) by unscrewing the 6 screws

Fitting Cable Clamp:

Appliance is fitted with a cable clamp for an easy and safe connection. Slide thesupport in order to remove it and put is back when cables are correctly tightened.

Wiring Connections

This air curtain is supplied setup for 400V 3-phase + neutral and earth

Other possible voltage connections are:

- 230 V single phase- 400 V tri without neutral (a separate 230V power supply is required for the controls)

NB: Motor operates with 230 V single phase

3-Phase with Neutral

Do not alter bridges

Operation

We recommend the use of the optional electronic control box that enables to operate up to 20 air curtains.

Please see the manual of this accessory.

Connection: a 2 wire low voltage (no polarity) cord from the control box to the “master” appliance. Then, asingle wire between the appliances

NB: when not using the electronic control box, appliance operates at full power + full speed.

Connection to a mechanical room thermostat Thermostat can drive up to 20 appliances (1 wire)

Without any control system:

Add a shunt (see yellow arrow) from the AUX terminal of theprinted circuit board to the L (phase) of the electric supplyterminal

Overheat cut-out

This appliance is fitted with a thermal overheat cut-out with manualreset.

In case of abnormal operation, the appliance stops and the red lightilluminates.

Turn off air curtain and inspect unit

To reset switch:

Check grilles and ensure they are clean. Make surobstructions blocking the air flow.

Wait for 5 minutes then press the red button of thtop of the unit.

Restart the air curtain.

If thermal overheat cut-out is re-activated, call a

Maintenance

This appliance requires no special maintenance.

To remove dust, use a soft cloth. To remove marks, use a damp cloth. Never use abracould damage the polyester coating. Periodically remove dust which could collect in tusing a vacuum cleaner

Servicing:

In the event of a fault, disconnect from the power supply (switch off or unscrew fuse)done by a qualified electrician.

Identity plate useful data: Product code, power, date of manufacturing (week/year)

NOTE: This guide should be kept by all successive users for future reference
