Why are Indians genetically prone to

heart disease.

Genetically Indians have lower muscle mass and higher body fat percentage specially around the belly

Nitric oxide activity is impaired in people of Indian origin as compared with Whites, Chinese, Japanese, Hispanics, Caucasians.

Indian have much higher levels of lp(a) than other ethnic groups. Indians have low HDL along with high lp(a).
