The health minister in Chhattisgarh Shri Ajay Chandrakar, being the head of Health and Family Welfare Department has taken the honorable activity to permit pregnant women to keep a female relative or companion in labor with her amid delivery.

'Prasav Sangi' program started so that female relative or companion of pregnant woman might help her in labor room of Government Hospitals.

This activity has been taken to permit group of pregnant ladies to offer her some assistance with maintaining better psychological wellness before delivery, amid delivery, and post delivery.

Any ladies (relative or companion) picked by the patient will be allowed for being delivery partner, if she is not contaminated with any infectious malady.

Under the leadership of the health minister in Chhattisgarh, Shri Ajay Chandrakar will monitor the third phase of the vaccination drive 'Mission Indradhanush'

Mission indradhanush started by Health and Family Welfare Department and is being started in eleven districts of the state. In this phase, vaccination drive will be conducted.

Under this mission headed by the health minister in Chattisgrah, children of 0-2 age group will be vaccinated for prevention of tuberculosis, Diphtheria, DPT, hepatitis-B, and measles.

Mother-Infant Protection Card will be issued to the beneficiaries, after vaccination.
