What is Health Coaching?
Consequent to the assessment of readiness to change,
aKainable goals are set. New healthy behaviors are then
acquired through the use of behavioral techniques such as
neuro-‐l inguis-c programming (NLP), mo-va-onal
interviewing, stages of changes, and/or problem solving
strategies.

How does Health Coaching work?
The Health Coach: One-‐to-‐one coaching sessions (face-‐to-‐face, by phone, through web based tools) EducaDon and disseminaDon of informaDon: (e.g. brochures, handouts, ar-cles, newsleKers, webpages, workshops, seminars, lunch & learn) Professionals, family & friends providing advice and support

• Behaviors: establishing and maintaining new behaviors or habits
