Ergonomics

• Space• 25 computers for work• Not enough space for books and computer usage• Leg room is not enough

• Chairs• Sufficient back support• Adjustable seating positions• Some chairs have back lining coming off

• This is a safety hazard

PC

• PC• Old PC’s

• Perform tasks enough for school work• Some glitch out sometimes

• Most are fine• Monitors also glitch out

• Most are fine• A few of the keyboards are greasy

• Most are clean• Most mice are clean

• Sometimes the R&L buttons are greasy

Electrics

• Projector• Safely positioned above workspace

• Also has secondary support chain• Causes eye strain if stood in front

• Light is in your eye

• Wiring• Wraps around the room in cable trunks• Wires under the table are in a metal housing

• Few wires underneath the tables are loose

Lighting

• Artificial lighting• Lightbulbs have distributers• No monitor glare

• Natural lighting• Big windows on the left side of the room• Causes lots of glare if in the right position

Atmosphere

• Temperature• Can be pretty hot

• But the room has an AC• Also able to open the windows

• Sound• Sound levels are normal• Students talking and the AC

Safety hazards

• Storage• Boxes• Are heavy• Pose a tripping threat

• Notice boards• Safely secured on the wall• Door may hit you

• Notice board is on your left when you walk in

• Wastepaper bins• Tripping hazard

Fire safety

• Fire Extinguisher• Next to the door• Benefits• Disadvantages

• Doorways• Tall and wide• Sealed• Not blocked
