Network of early stage startups Headstart Network Foundation in association with startup

Oasis organised Startup Funding and Pitching event – PitchCity on 8 October and 9

October to encourage startups in the state as part of Rajasthan Startup Fest.

The PitchCity Jaipur is a national level event where startups, mentors & investors came

together to be a part of the growing ecosystem of Rajasthan & to celebrate

entrepreneurship.

More than 100 startups, 20 angel and venture capital investors, 30 mentors and startup

coaches and speakers came together on one platform of high energy interactions and

exciting sessions that saw a total participation of more than 400 people.

The event was planned as a culmination of multiple tracks of scouting, incubation and

acceleration of start-ups across multiple sectors.

Product Demo, Pitches and Product Launches  took place  interspersed with high energy

interactions, talks, panel discussions and mentoring sessions.

Investors from all over India honoured the event with their presence. The event was

dedicated to live/video Pitching to top rated investors from India and Abroad.

Top 50 startups out of all the applications were selected and 25 worthy startups out of

the showcase were shortlisted who got an opportunity to pitch live at the Boot camp and

got free entry to the Rajasthan Startup Fest and 7 most worthy startups will get to do the

second round of Pitching "The Pitch" today at Rajasthan Startup Fest event to investors

and get funded.

Top 25 worthy startups shortlisted were Bull Bear Device, Courierwalaz , MyCityApp ,

Truelancer, Shishugram, Video cv’s & profiles,  Living Green Organics, Kitki, eBZaar.com,

Wholesale Box , mVikarsha,  MeraFoodChoice , Corporate Buddy , IC Labs, Mobien 

Technologies,  iData Sciences, Frogo, Gamezop, Cloudrino, KiviHealth, MerryTrips,

tapNget, Callthedoc, PuraniMachines, MotoMistri.

ensure that all start-ups get the recognition they deserve, we organized the PitchCity

event to encourage the budding innovators and entrepreneurs of India” said, Arpit

technology product/digital start-ups is projected to be 11,500 by 2020, employing over

2.5 lakh people from just 65,000-75,000 in 2014.

India is right now at a threshold of startup boom, as we are world’s 3rd fastest growing

startup eco-system. With 3100 startups, India is closely behind UK with 4000 startups

and catching up to US which has 41,500 startups.
