Presidents Corner Greetings to all and Happy New Year to all of you and your fami-lies. Well we’re off and running as another year begins. Let me start by welcoming our returning officers for the 2017-2018 term of office. And we welcome newcomer Kevin Smith as a Trustee. Remember once again all of our officers are volunteering their time to serve you and this club. So please be courteous, patient and helpful yourself in making this club the great place it is. Please remember nothing is solved sitting in the Club Room and complaining. Is there is something that you have questions or concerns by all means come to a monthly meeting and allow us to see if we can get you an answer. On to the Thanks for this month which revolve around the Children’s Christmas party. We have a plethora of people to Thank this month from the planning, purchasing, characters, kitchen staff and any and all who donated goods or money to make this event great. To Bill and Jean Hruska and their Elf, Megan Hruska for keeping the children happy and content. To Ralph Szubski for the entertainment and Frank and Yvonne Homa for handling the kitchen duty. To Suzie Miller for the shopping and wrapping. To Sandy Powell for her help as always! To Frosty the Snowman Paul Bartko for his efforts to entertain. Last and not to be forgotten Santa Claus for his appearance. Great job! This months Birthday Dinner will feature stuffed cabbage and baked chicken. Hope to see you there. Lastly I hope you have purchased your ticket for the Big Bucks drawing, Pasta Dinner and the very special evening with The Rat Pack and More! It should be a fabulous evening with Frank, Dean and Sammy. Have a great Month!

At the January 6th Birthday Dinner we will have the swearing in of the Officers to serve the 2017/2018 term of office. The Honorable Judge Thomas Corrigan will be on hand to give the oath of office to returning Officers Mike Costanzo, Ron Neroni, Peggy Mask, Jean Hruska and Steve Domjan. Trustees Tim Buday, Sal Culovic, Bill Hruska and John Pfleuger will be joined by newcomer Kevin Smith. The office of corresponding secretary is still vacant and in need of a willing body.
