This presentation shows applications that were made by hybra.tv in 2014. These applications were available in hybrid TV in TVP channels.

The hybrid application „Przedsiębiorcza Polska”(Entrepreneurial Poland) is the result of collaboration between TVP and PARP (Polish Agency for Enterprise Development).

The application includes episodes of TV programme„Przedsiębiorcza Polska”, available as VOD, and so called „pills of knowledge”, which come from the PARP Academy and which are a source of interesting information for existing and potential entrepreneurs.

The application Brazylia 2014 (Brasil 2014) provided access to the most interesting video clips from all matches played during the FIFA World Cup.

By using this application viewers had access to sports statistics that were displayed real-time during the matches.

The application for the TV programme called „Porozmawiajmy”(Let's talk...) helps to learn German and English.

It contains texts with phrases to be learnt, synchronised with VOD materials and with the programme that is broadcast live on TV.

The application TVP Bieszczady allows you to get to know tourist attractions of the Bieszczady mountains via a virtual TV channel, VOD content, and interactive multimedia content.

The content in the application is managed by means of a CMS system from the TV broadcaster.

A hybrid advertisement that promotes the launch of Ford Mustang car in Poland.

The distinctive element of this advertising campaign was a red Ford displayed at the bottom right corner of the TV screen.

In addition to galleries of photographs and video spots that were changing every few days, the key element of the application was a clock stylised as an odometer in a car. It was counting down the time remaining till the commencement of subscriptions for the car.

A QR code was used in the application to redirect to the mobile website.

A hybrid ad that allowed users to compare offers for life insurance and to leave their phone numbers for a consultant from the call centre.

The phone number collected by the application was transmitted directly to the IT system of the company that offers the insurance.

A hybrid ad that was supporting the brand campaign of Saturn company, by promoting the slogan: "Saturn advises – think technologically".

In addition, the application contained a classic 30-second advertising spot.

A hybrid ad of Allegro contained – in the teaser – the slogan "Check the autumn trends", which after a few seconds was transforming into the logo of Allegro, supplemented with information about active buttons.

In the full-screen mode an interactive carousel of products was presented, referring to advertising spots that were broadcast at that time on TV.

After selecting a product it was enlarged and a QR code appeared, redirecting to the page of the selected product on the mobile website of Allegro.

Collections of displayed products were changing every week. The application was promoted during the morning show on TVP2 channel.

The application that made it possible to watch the virtual TV channel called "TVP Regionalna – "Śladami Jana Pawła II" ("Regional TVP – Following the footprints of John Paul II") via the hybrid HbbTV.

The application also included a mini EPG with recommendations about TV programmes that were broadcast in TVP channels on the occasion of canonisation of John Paul II and John XXIII.

The application that made it possible to watch the virtual TV channel called "TVP – 25 lat Wolności" ("TVP – 25 Years of Freedom") via the hybrid HbbTV.

The application contained a gallery of photos from Communist times and an EPG dedicated to the virtual TV channel.

The application „iTeatr” (iTheatre) that made it possible to watch the virtual TV channel called „Internetowy Teatr TVP dla szkół” ("Online TVP Theatre for Schools") via hybrid HbbTV.

The application also included films that took part in the review of school theatre plays, available as video-on-demand (VOD).

Each performance has been described with: the title, the name of the theatre group, and the name of the educational establishment from which the actors came. The application also contained the description of the internet project for Online TVP Theatre for Schools and information on the review of school theatres.

The HbbTV application „Test Wideo” (Video Test) allows you to test your TV set for its support for videos with surround sound and in Ultra HD (4K), for the support for MPEG-DASH and the latest HEVC video codecs.
