• Plant spillages are yet another hazard• Accidents happen when we try to avoid getting

them on us• Spillages below belt or transfer points pose

hazard . Workers try to clean below the belt during operation and get caught. The preventive measure would be to eliminate spillage by proper controls

• Proper lock out switches should be made available to avoid inadvertant starting of equipment at the time of maintenance
