Acquires Sugar Valley, S.L. ______________________________________________ ELIZABETH, NJ (November 8, 2016) – Hayward Industries, Inc., a leading global manufacturer and marketer of residential and commercial swimming pool equipment, has acquired Sugar Valley. Headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, Sugar Valley is a leading provider in Europe of integrated product solutions that intelligently automate swimming pool equipment, water chemistry and sanitization. “We’re delighted to add Sugar Valley’s expertise in pool automation, sanitization, and innovation in IoT technology. The addition of Sugar Valley, along with our recent acquisition of Kripsol, significantly expands Hayward’s European presence,” said Clark Hale, President of Hayward Industries. Founded in 1997, Sugar Valley markets a broad offering of electronic equipment for water treatment using salt electrolysis, hydrolysis, UV, and ionization technology. Javier Vinageras, General Manager of Sugar Valley, expressed his enthusiasm for the transaction, “With our rapid growth over the last several years, Sugar Valley reached an inflection point in our business.
