Have You Lost Your Bible?

Since that occasion when Satan entered the Garden of Eden

deceiving Eve, his presence and influence has been a dominate fac-

tor in the world. His desire is to destroy and he will use any means

to accomplish this. There are many ways the devil seeks to devour

men today. One of his tricks is to cheapen the word of God (the Bi-

ble) in the minds of people.

The devil devotes much effort to convince men that the

Bible is just another good book in a long line of good books.

Most of us, no doubt, have several bibles in our homes. Yet, it is

a lost book because the devil has had great success in convinc-

ing people that it is not an important book. People make time

to read the newspaper and magazines, to watch television, and do

many other things but they make no time to study God’s word.

The home has been robbed of the book of ages. People

have become ignorant where there should be understanding (Acts

17; 2 Tim. 2:15). They have confusion where there should be

peace (Phil. 4:6-7). People are weak where they should be strong

(Eph. 6:7; 1 Cor. 16:13). There is more trust in man when there

should be total reliance on God (Ps. 118:8; Isa. 12:2; Acts 4:9).

Find your Bible and study it, least the devil devour you.

It is an honor to have you join us in worship at the

Northside Church of Christ! Our mission is to save

souls and to help souls stay saved. We extend our

sincere love towards you and we encourage you to take

advantage of the opportunity to have a bible study with

members who are eager to study with you. If you do not

share our like faith, this bible study, as well as your visit

today, offers a two way opportunity: (1) We have the

chance to share with you the gospel of Jesus Christ and

the essential steps to salvation. (2) You have the chance

to hear, believe, repent, confess, and be baptized where-

by being added to the Church of Christ. We welcome

you to investigate what you hear and see today. You

will be able to ask your biblical questions and receive

biblical answers that will guide you to make an in-

formed, life changing decision. Thank you for being our

special guest! Please come again.

Did You Tell Someone About Jesus?

Matt. 28:19-20 is the great

commission given to members of

the body of Christ. As Christians,

it is our responsibility to Tell,

Talk and Teach others about

Jesus. Telling someone about

Christ will often open the door to

Talk with them about Him. You

can then Teach them or invite

them to Church where they can be

taught. We encourage each Chris-

tian to take advantage of such

opportunities. If you know of a

prospect, and for some reason

cannot conduct a personal Bible

study, please give their contact

information to Bro. and/or Sis.

Oliver or to one of our Leaders.

Welcome to the Family!!
