2009-2010 Corporate Sponsors GOLD SILVER BRONZE President’s Podium Have you ever planned a surprise party or wedding? Planning for future events is fun and exciting. The objective is to have a good time in the future. Companies plan for future events as well. They call it strategic planning. The purpose is to have a business plan which results in a successful future outcome. Your KCIFMA Chapter is looking forward to a bright future. So guess what? We are starting a strategic planning process. Development of our strategic plan will follow an outline used by IFMA’s Corporate Office. Their strategic plan is integrated with a balanced scorecard. The strategic planning process involves several steps. These steps include; pre-meeting preparation, strategic analysis, situation analysis, plan development, balanced scorecard, and plan implementation. All this may be more than you did while planning your last party; however, the results are the same. KCIFMA’s plan will produce a good time for our members, enhanced educational programs, spectacular events and superior services for our members. Currently the Kansas City Chapter is forming a strategic planning team. This team will be made up of officers, committee chairs, and some new and senior members. The wider the experience of the team, the better the outcome will be. If you would like to be a part of planning the future of KCIFMA, I encourage you to become a member of the strategic planning team. Planning the future will be a thrilling and educational experience for all. To join this elite team, contact Vice President Andrew Knutson, [email protected] . May all of you have a bright future. Have you ever planned a surprise party or

wedding? Planning for future events is fun and

exciting. The objective is to have a good time in

the future. Companies plan for future events as

well. They call it strategic planning. The purpose

is to have a business plan which results in a

successful future outcome.

Your KCIFMA Chapter is looking forward to a

bright future. So guess what? We are starting a

strategic planning process. Development of our

strategic plan will follow an outline used by

IFMA’s Corporate Office. Their strategic plan is

integrated with a balanced scorecard.

The strategic planning process involves several

steps. These steps include; pre-meeting

preparation, strategic analysis, situation analysis,

plan development, balanced scorecard, and plan

implementation. All this may be more than you

did while planning your last party; however, the

results are the same. KCIFMA’s plan will

produce a good time for our members, enhanced

educational programs, spectacular events and

superior services for our members.

Currently the Kansas City Chapter is forming a

strategic planning team. This team will be made

up of officers, committee chairs, and some new

and senior members. The wider the experience of

the team, the better the outcome will be.

If you would like to be a part of planning the

future of KCIFMA, I encourage you to become a

member of the strategic planning team. Planning

the future will be a thrilling and educational

experience for all. To join this elite team, contact

Vice President Andrew Knutson,

May all of you have a bright future.
