In 1912, KOBIRA CORPORATION was founded in southern part of Kyushu island, Kagoshima, Japan.Currently KOBIRA CORPORATION has several business divisions including energy (liquefied petroleum gas, sustainable new energy), trading, travel agency, agriculture and gas station.We are expanding our business across all over the world not only in Japan, but also United States, Thailand's, India, Vietnam, and China etc.

KOBIRA-SHOKAI was established as a Metal work shop.Started business on water supply construction and selling pump, oxygen, and Acetylene.Started running LPG gas station in Kushikino city. Established Kobira Gas Energy (for LPG wholesales) and Taiyo Gas Cooperative Union (for LPG retail). Kobira Shokai joined Taiyo Gas Cooperative Union.Kobira Computer company was established. Kobira Computer Service was spinned off as Micomland Kagoshima, Inc. Opened Ijuin LPG gas station. KME in Tokyo for IT business was established. Each subsidiary company was merged into Kobira cooperation. Kobira was consisted of three business division; KME, Micomland, and LPG energy. Build Kobira building in Kagoshima. Headquarter was relocated from Kushikino city to Kagoshima city.International trade division and Outdoor goods division were established. Acquired 100% stock of Nihon Special Tours, ltd.
