Sunday events includethe very popular Hastings Car Club Summerfest Car Show inDowntown Hastings from 10 until 5pm. They expect over 300 entries to bein attendance and to join in the fun. Trophies & Best of Show Awards willbe awarded at 3pm and the show is free for all ages. The Car Club alsosponsors the Kids’ Parade, “Go Green, Recycle and Reuse” The showis free for all ages and starts at Boltwood & State Streets, proceedingdown State Street to the Courthouse Square. Kids who want to participateshould show up at 12:30pm this Sunday and the club will find you a spotin the lineup for a 1pm start. Proceeds from the car shows are donated tolocal children’s charities. The Bosley Medbug is a show sponsor and theDerby Medbug will make a special appearance during the show. Kids willget a chance to sit in the Derby Medbug and you can take a picture ofthem in the car.2.
