Dozens of teams and individuals will gather at Fish HatcheryPark in Hastings Saturday, May 4, with the goal of raising$21,000 to help premature babies through the March of Dimes.
The walking event, March for Babies, is a national fundraiser with alocal flavor. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a four-milewalk starting at 9 a.m. in Fish Hatchery, traveling through downtownHastings and back to the park. Brittany Wescott (center) along withdaughter Olive (left) and son Jonah are part of the 2013 Barry CountyMarch of Dimes Ambassador Family, along with their dad, JasonGoggins. The ambassador family has been helping with fundraisingover the past few months and will be walking at the head of the march.For more on the story, look inside.
