We would also like to thank Lyndon Bartholomew and PMA Communicaons Group for the prinng of our flyers and pro- grams and Jenni Searson and MacKillop College for providing our staging equipment. The players in REDS Quintet bring together many years of musical experience in the local area. REDS perform a wide range of jazz styles including mainstream and cool jazz, bebop, Lan, funk, rhythm & blues and even some jazz/rock. The band members write most of their own arrangements, balanc- ing instrumental pieces with vocal harmonies. The group can get the toes tapping of young and old alike and is fast developing a reputa- on as a much sought-aſter entertainment group in the Hasngs. Players: Glenn Moore (trumpet), Jock Garven (saxophone), Bob Barne (piano and vocals), Rod Ward (bass and vocals), Andrew Harrison (drums and vocals). Hugo Biar Hugo Biar is 16 years of age and aends St Columba Anglican School. This year Hugo completed AMEB Piano for Leisure Grade 6 and was awarded a High Disncon with the examiner nong his outstanding ability to make pop music sound like Brahms! Hugo enjoys playing pop, rock and jazz music and is also an arsc photographer and videographer. Greg Mitchell Gregory Mitchell is a young man with a passion for the performing arts. He studies classical piano and was recently awarded a High Disncon in his Grade 4 singing exam. Greg has a special connecon to music theatre and aends St Columba Anglican School where he is a member of vocal and drama ensembles. Francesca Plennger Francesca is a Year 10 student at MacKillop College and was recently awarded Honours in her Grade 5 singing Exam. At the 2018 Taree Eisteddfod she received the 16 years Championship Award, the Stage Door/Canteen Scholarship and the award for Most Promising Competor 16-20 years. She plays guitar and has been a singer with the Gondwana Voices Novus Children's Choir. Hastings Choristers REDS Quintet
