Setting

• Harry Potter lived with his uncle and aunt but he had to leave for their safety

• The main setting is at Hogwarts (the school of witchcraft and wizardry)

• A few times they are at Hogsmeade, the area/town by Hogwarts

Characters

Harry- The main character in the story best friends with Ron. Also known as the,” Boy Who Lived.” He is caring, loving, and the hero.

Hermione- Harry’s best friend and also the brainiac at Hogwarts.

Ron- Ron is Harry’s best friend till death. They defend each other like they are brothers.Draco Malfoy- Draco is one of two enemies Harry

has. It started in the first book when Harry said he didn’t want to hang out with Draco and it has been chaos ever since.

Voldemort- is Harry’s worst enemy because Harry was a creation by mistake. Voldemort made him.

Conflict

The conflict in this book is that Harry Potter and the whole world are in danger because Voldemort is after them. In this book, the stakes are higher to escape from Voldemort because now that he has the “Elder wand,” he is more powerful than ever. So pretty much in every book, Voldemort wants to destroy Harry.

Resolution

The resolution is that since Hogwarts was fighting non-stop with Voldemort’s army, and so many people were getting killed, Harry decided to let Voldemort kill him. Harry magically came back to life and they all killed Voldemort. If you read to the very end, there is a part where it tells about 19 years later.

My Opinion

I love this book!!! (It is kind of obvious or else I would not have picked this book) It tells great fantasy stories in seven EXTREMELY long books! Who doesn’t like that?! I <3 this book!

Summary

Harry finally leaves from the Dursley’s forever. He must survive and fight for his life, and all the lives around him. Voldemort challenges Harry to a fight, the final fight. 7 books into it and it all ends. Will Harry win or lose?
