* There are same models released after 2001 and mentioned above that might be equipped with a key
firmware 51 or 57, you can always check existing key with NEC Key Prog software and if firmware is suitable,
you can add one more key
3. Here below you can find pictures of keys that are equipped with firmware 51 or 57.
1. Check original key firmware version, with the use of NEC Key Programmer, with the use of IR port. Firmware
version should be 51 or 57
2. Go with your laptop to car and run IR TOOLS software.
3. Connect IR Key to your laptop USB port, and then insert IR Key into igniotion

4. Read ignition with use of IR Key, press ‚Go!’ button.
5. Save read information on your hard drive.

6. Disasemble original key, open it and desolder NEC microprocessor.
7. Read NEC microprocessor with a use of standard PCB delivered with every MB Key Prog 2
EVO
8. Run software NEC Key Programmer v.11
9. Run ‚Read Soft’ option

10. Read NEC microprocessor
11. Save read values on your hard drive (in the same folder, that was used to save values read from ignition lock)

Attention! Before starting to work with MB Key Offline You need to unpack the file Data_new.rar
(it is on the supplied USB drive) to the same folder where is the NEC11 program. Then, in the MB
Key Offline click on the "Date" and indicate the unpacked Data_new.bin file.
Only now, the program will work properly.
13. Load saved values of the ignition lock.
14. Load saved values read from NEC microprocessor.

15. Choose which keys you’d like to calculate.
16. Calculate keys.
It usually takes about 4-5 seconds to calculate
one key
17. All calculated keys are automatically saved in a folder that was used by you before.

18. You can program (write) new keys with a use of IR port in MB Key Prog2/ MB Key Prog2 EVO or you can
program new original keys with use of NEC IC socket or NEC PCB.
