We all have the right to go to school in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.

The Halifax Regional School Board has a Harassment Policy that protects every student and employee from being discriminated against or harassed.

Human Rights Protected Characteristics

age • marital status race • source of income colour • political belief, affiliation, or religion activity association with creed another individual or

class… sex (including gender & pregnancy) sexual orientation physical disability or mental disability irrational fear of contracting an illness or disease ethnic, national or aboriginal origin family status
