Quality Assurance is the key word, which is
maintained through out the entire Product
Manufacturing Life Cycle (PMLC). Our zero
compromise policy has equipped our group to
attain the desired brand name & value.
A total of 31 Tests (physical & chemical in nature) are
conducted ranging from the raw materials,
intermediate processing & finished product.
Out team of expert lab technicians ensure that the
product retains the characteristics like, Strength,
Endurance, Ductility, Elongation & more, further
adding to our consumers’ satisfaction & trust.
TMT (Thermo Mechanical Treatment) to the Bars, is rendered bytreating the hot bar by water. In the rolling mill, the billets / ingotsare heated in the reheating furnace and rolled through varioustools, progressively reducing the section. The bar releasing fromthe final stand is subjected to water treatment. The processinvolves the following -
THE PROCESS TRAIL
It begins when the hot rolled bar leaves the final mill stand and israpidly quenched by water, under pressure injection thoughmultiple nozzles. This converts the surface layer of the bar tohardened structure called Martensile, while the core remains hotAustenite.
QUENCHING
It begins when the bar leaves the quenching box with atemperature gradient through its cross section. The temperatureof the core being higher than that of the surface. This allows heatto flow from the core to structure called “Tempered Martensite”,which is strong & tough. The core is still Austenite at this stage.
SELF TEMPERING
This takes place at the cooling bed, where the austenitic core istransferred to a ductile Ferrite – Pearlite. Thus, the final structureconsists of a combination of strong outer layer of TemperedMartensite and ductile core of Ferrite – Pearlite.

EARTHQUAKE RESISTANCE
AC Turbo TMT, Fe 500 hashigh yield strength of about500 N/mm2 combinedwith good ductility.
CORROSION RESISTANCE
AC Turbo 500 bars are more corrosionresistant than CTD bars & ordinary TMTbars. Cold Working involved in CTD barslead to surface stresses and consequenthigher rate of corrosion. The protectivescale layer falls off during twisting. ACTurbo 500 process basically inhibits rate ofscale formation and no cold working isinvolved.
WELDABILITY
AC Turbo 500 bars are produced withCarbon less than 0.25% and are suitablefor all the main welding processes withoutany special precautions. No pre-heatingor post-heating is necessary and no lossof strength occurs at weld joints.
RESISTANCE
AC Turbo TMT unlike CTDbars, have a proven recordin resisting loss of strengthat high temperatures &other hazardous situations.

The facilities house fully automatic rolling millsalong with comprehensively supportive Steel Melting Shop (SMS). We are pioneers in installing therevolutionary technology (IQ-USA) with it’s unified production system.
Gravity is an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization, operated at three (3) units, with its
registered establishment based at Raipur, capital of Chhattisgarh state. As a group
Gravity holds its prominent presence from past 7 years, nonetheless is backed by a
cumulative experience of over 25 years, hailing from it’s young & dynamic Directors &
Promoters. The focused orientation towards product quality and futuristic approach has
