Dear Parents and Guardians
Happy St Jude’s Feast Day!
We have enjoyed wonderful celebrations
today for the feast of St Jude, patron saint
of our school and parish.
We began with a reverent and joyful Mass
honouring St Jude, Apostle of Jesus, and
then headed back into our classes to share
information and activities about our patron
saint.
The St Jude’s Got Talent show was great
fun and we were amazed at some of the
hidden talents in our students!
T
St Jude’s Feast Day, October 28th
St Jude, Apostle of Jesus,
You carried the Good News to the world.
Guide us in our learning, and in working to achieve our goals.
Guide us in understanding our troubles,
And in learning to grow from them.
Speak to Jesus for us in our needs and help us to help others. We remember the help you give us and do our best to tell others about you.
Amen.

SCHOOL SPORTS UNIFORMS
Students in Yrs.1-6 have sports
activities on different days of the
week. If you are unsure of what
uniform your child should be wearing
each day, please check with the
classroom teacher.
PRE PRIMARY
We have been busy since our first day this term.
We have been remembering some of our sight
words and have been learning more of them.
We have been listening to many stories and Mrs
Lambert is asking us tricky questions about what
we learnt from the story.
We have counted by tens and have found numbers
all the way up to 100.
We are excited about St Jude's special day on
Wednesday, but we still need some helpers to walk
us around the mission markets. Can you help us?
Mrs Grupillo, Mrs Fonseca and Miss Phillips are
going to paint faces for the markets, Yay!!!! 😄
We hope to raise lots of money for the missions.
If you are bringing food for the shared lunch,
please bring your food to Pre-Primary as we will be
eating here. No nuts or nut products please.
YEAR 2
In Year Two we are on a quest to develop our
creativity. Sometimes we try something that
doesn’t work. When this happens, we may need to
pull something apart and rebuild it using some of
the same materials. We have been experimenting
with processes by using materials to join,
separate, combine and assemble. Knowing how to
solve problems with the resources we have, will
help us for our final task of the unit.
Year 2 (continued)
We have been working on creating an artwork for
springtime. It’s a colourful flower that POPS out of
the canvas. We hope you are able to see our
artwork and many other things we have been doing
at our assembly on the 6th November (Week 4).
YEAR 4
Welcome back to term four!
It has been an exciting start to the term. On
Sunday the 25th of October some of our year 4
students made their First Holy Communion. This
was a special time for them as they received Jesus
for the very first time. I would also like to take the
opportunity to acknowledge the rest of the class
students who participated in the preparation.
A very special day!!
