This is a Valentine Lions Club Project
Quite recently, Margaret Fox embarked on a wonderful tour
of Norway. Here are her impressions:
“Norway is a magnificent country, very mountainous, with
fjords everywhere. During your travels, you ascend the
mountains, go across the top, and then down, encountering
plenty of hellraising bends. The scenery is out of this world. I
have never seen green so green before, and the waterfalls
are so close to the roads that you get sprayed. The scenery
from the Flam Railway is spectacular, with lots of snow, and
the fish so fresh. To add to the fun of the present, the history
is full of Vikings, trolls, fjords, and Edvard Grieg. It was a very
pleasant holiday.”
What a picturesque country!
