Congratulations to Rollie & Cindy Ammermann in the birth of their Grandson, Callahan Lucas Ammermann. Callahan was born on Sun., June 25th to Matt and Ashley Ammermann. He weighed 8 lbs., 12 oz., and was 21 ½ in. long.

Congratulations to Joe & Carolyn Apol in the birth of their 7th Great-Grandchild, Easton John Apol. Easton was born on Wed., June 21st to Trevor and Allison Apol of Alexandria. He weighed 8 lbs., 6 oz., and was 20 ½ in. long.

Prayer for our shut-ins, as well as others not mentioned in our church family who struggle with physical, mental, or spiritual needs.

Summer Church Office Hours: Beginning June 26th, the church office will be open Tues – Fri from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. **Lora will be out of the office Thurs., July 6th through Fri,. July 14th. Becky Zimmer will stepping in and will be in the office: 7/6 – 7/7 from 3 – 5 pm and 7/10 – 7/14 from 6-8 pm. If you are interested in previewing or purchasing a “Lift Up Your Hearts” hymnal, please contact Lora in the office by Sun., July 16th. Mike & Jolene Bonnema Family Unity CRC to host an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thurs., July 6th from 1-7 pm. Walk-in's are welcome, but appointments are recommended. Please make appointments on-line at www.redcrossblood.org or call Laura at 978-9104. Habitat for Humanity of West Central MN is currently seeking a partner family for a home in Willmar. Habitat partners must have low to moderate income. Applications are being accepted from June 20th through July 20th. Kandiyohi County Food Shelf announces Grant Opportunity! “Open Your Heart” to the Hungry and Homeless will proportionally match donations to Kandiyohi County Food Shelf during the month of July, up to $5,000. In 2016, the MN food shelves across the state raised over $1.5 million with this grant and hope to raise even more this year. To donate: stop by the Food shelf, mail your donation (624 Pacific Ave SE, Willmar), or drop off your donation. United Lutheran Church in Lake Lillian invites you to an Ice Cream Social on Wed., July 12th from 5-7 pm. Clara City Garden Tour/Vendor Fair will be held on Tues., July 11th from 4:30-7:30 pm. Maps available at Wild Hare Garden Center. Almich’s Market will serve: Brats, Hot Dogs, Chips, water or pop for freewill donation to Clara City Lions. Free will donations will also be taken for the Clara City Lions Parks Project. The Esther School in Zambia, Africa, has a job opening for a Sustainability Manager. This operational, leadership position is integral to the school’s mission to connect with the local Zambian families and community. Ideally, the chosen applicant should be available to begin service in 2018. CMCS invites everyone to attend the CMCS Night at the Stingers baseball game in Willmar on Tues., Aug. 1st at 7 pm. Tickets are $9/person and only available as advance purchase through the H.S. office during summer hours until July 17th. Contact school to make arrangements to pick-up tickets at a different time, if needed.
