HAPPY HOLI - Presented by class 2 Students of Class II gave a wonderful presentation in the school assembly to celebrate holi. The program started with a lively song on holi , and the rituals and celebrations associated with it. This was followed with a speech on holi. Students dressed in attractive costumes depicted the drama of Hiranyakshyapa , Holika and Prahalad . They enacted a drama showing the triumph of good over evil. The hindi students recited a poem. Jagadapu Chemgullo ja ja ra, song from annamayya saw the little ones dancing to the melodious music. Teachers and students held placards on Do’s and Don’ts to be followed during the celebrations. It was an organic finish when students and teachers demonstrated making colours using vegetables and spices like turmeric to make organic colours.These was also an appeal to avoid communal celebrations and follow safe methods to celebrate holi in view of the virus. Happy Holi-May the colours bring in lot of colours and happiness in our lives.
