WELCOME TO ALL COMPETITORS AND SUPPORTERS OF HUNTS KART RACING CLUBThisweekendistheTWELTH AND FINAL ROUNDofthe2015HKRCClubChampionship.year.Therearestillmanyclasseswithpointsthatarecloseforthetoppositions.

FromNovember2015throughtoMarch2016thestarttimesforpracticeandracedaywillbe9.30.WiththeclockschangedHKRCwillendeavourtoutilizeasmuchtracktimeaspossiblewiththewinterweatherandlightpermitting.RaceformatonSundaywillincludethreelapspractice,twoheatsandafinalforeachclass.followthesameformatastheSeptembermeetingwhichallowsformoretracktimeforheatsandfinals.

Pleaseensureyouhavereadandunderstandthesupplementaryregulationsfor2015andtheadditionalSupplementaryregulationswhichareeffectivefromFebruary2015.ThesearepostedinracecontrolandthewebsitewhichareavailableontheHKRCwebsiteandraceentryforms.

2016 MEMBERSHIP PACKS.Thepacksarenowavailableforcollectioninracecontrol,thepacksincluderaceentryform,new2016regulations,membershipformandpitbayrequestform.

GRID and PARC FERME /MEMBERSHIP PASSESaretobeusedwhenenteringtheassemblyandgridorParcFermeareas.Onlymechanicswithpasseswillbepermittedintotheseareas.ONEPASSperdrivertobegiventothe mechanic.

Wristbandswillbeprovidedfornon-clubmembersonthebandwillbeissued.UseofGALLERY-Nounder16’sarepermittedontothegalleryandonlymechanicswithpassesarepermittedtousethisareaandsmokingisnotpermitted.Anyonethatareseennottoabidebytheseruleswillnotbepermittedtoreturntothegalleryfortheraceweekend.

Thepaddockisnotforgeneralcarparking,thegrassareaontheothersideofthetreelinemustbeusedformechanicsandspectatorvehiclesonly.ThereisanareathatcanbeusedforcampingatthefarendofthesiteAnycompetitorparkingdeemednottobeappropriatewillbeaskedtomove.AND IF SAFE ACCESS to SITE and PADDOCKiscompromisedforemergencyservicesifrequiredthenthemeetingwillhavetobestopped.

VACANT PIT BAYScanberentedfor£20perweekend,pleasevisitracecontrolforavailability.Ifanyoneisparkedonabaythathasnotbehired,thentheywillbeaskedtomoveorPayforHireifthebayisnottobeusedfortheweekend.

campaignacrossalllevelsofkartingwhichwillbeofficiallylaunchedattheAutosportShowinJanuary.TheMSAisreallypleasedthatthiscampaignisfullysupportedbytheNationalKartingAssociation(NKA)whowillalsobelaunchingtheCodetotheirmembersandaccreditedcircuits. ItwillsubsequentlyberolledoutacrossjuniorcarracingandjuniordragsterChampionships.

TheRacingCode,whichchampionsrespect,fairplay,self-control,goodmannersandsincerityforallwithinthesport,isunderpinnedbystatementsandvaluesforeveryoneinvolvedinKartingandsetsthelevelofexpectation.Itplacestheresponsibilityupontheindividualfortheirbehaviourandmanner,before,duringandpostevent.

UltimatelytheMSAwilldealwithcasesofdisrespect,howeverClubsandChampionshipshaveanintegralroletoplayinthepositiveenforcementoftheRacingCodeandsubsequentlyindealingwithpoorbehaviourintheinitialphases.Thereisarangeofactionsthatcanbetaken,startingwitharecordedverbalwarningandinextremecasesexpulsionfromtheCluborChampionshipandalsoonwardreferraltotheMSA.Thereislittlepointhavingasetofrulesifnoactionistakenifandwhentheyarebroken,breaktheCodeandbeartheconsequences!

Weallstriveforthebestpossiblesportingenvironmentforsafeandenjoyableracing.TheRacingCodewillbeaneducationprocessandwecannotstressenoughhowimportantitisthatitisimplementedinthebestpossibleandpositivelight.Itiseveryone’sresponsibilitytodothis.Similarcampaignshavebeenrunsuccessfullyinothersportsandresultedinanimprovedexperienceforcurrentparticipants,whethercompetitorsorofficialsandhasalsoledtoanincreaseinthenumberofvolunteers’andparticipants’joiningandenjoyingtheirsports.

Tohelpexplaintheexpectationsandbeavailabletoansweranyquestionswearearrangingsomemeetingsinthecomingweeks,startingwithKartmaniaonSaturday28thNovember.Thelistofdatesandvenuesisbelow.WedohopethatyourClub/ChampionshipwillbeabletosendoneortworepresentativesandtheMSAwillcoverreasonabletravelcosts.Wewouldobviouslyencourageyoutocarshareasfaraspossibleandtravelbythemosteconomicalmeans.

AwetstarttothedaythreatenedtomartheRemembranceDaycommemorations,butthankfullytherainhaddiedoutbythetime11amandthetwominutessilencearrived,respectfullyobservedontheStart-FinishlinealongsidesomefineexamplesofAmericanmilitaryvehicleswhichwereondisplay.

AfterthechangefromBritishSummerTimetoGMT,theraceformatrevertedtothewintertimetableoftwoheatsandlongerfinals.

HIGHLIGHTS: TheclosestfinishofthedaycameinIAME Cadetwherethetopthreecrossedthelinewithininchesofeachother.MostdominantwincameinJunior TKMwithAbbiPullingtakingthevictorybyalmostsevenseconds.

RACE REPORTS:Honda Cadetwerefirstoutandonceagainprovidedracelongaction.PrincipalprotagonistswereReggieDuhy,BenKasperzcak,WesleyMason,CasperStevensonandJoshSteed.Duhy,MasonandKasperczakalltookturnstolead,withDuhyandKasperczaklookingmostlikelytopulloffthewin.IntoStowforthelasttime,Duhywentwideanddroppedbacktothird,allowingKasperczaktosnatchvictoryfromStevensonwithDuhyjustaheadofSteedinwhatwasalmostaphotofinishforthird.

PatrickKibbletookacoupleoflapstowrestletheMini MaxleadfromJamesHillery,butonceinfrontremainedtheretotheend.LochlanBearmantookanextralaptopassHilleryandbythenKibblewaswellclear.Bearmanworkedhardtoclosethegap,butdespitehisverybesteffortswhichsawhimalongsideKibbleacoupleoftimes,hewasunabletounseattheleader.Hillerydroppedoffthepaceofthefronttwobutwascomfortableinthird.

AbbiPullingmadeagoodstartinJunior TKMtoleadfrompolemanBradleyWhiteandRonanHaskett.Shehadsoonestablishedacommandingleadwithnooneabletokeepupwithher.MovingintosecondonlaptwoHaskettmaintainedhisgriponthepositiontotheend.AdamSparrowhadagoodgoatpassingHaskett,butitdidn’tcomeoffforhimandheendedupbehindJordan-LeeChapmanandWhite.

AaronDrurymadeaswiftrecoveryfromadifficultfirstlapwhichsawanumberoftheJunior Rotaxfanciedrunnersdroppingtotheback.MatthewBiryandGustavBurtonwhowerebeneficiariesofthefirstcornershuffleweresooninDrury’ssightsandthefrontrowmanwasabletoclaimtheleadonlapthree.TylerSullivanandJordanBrownhadtoworktheirwaythroughmoretrafficthanDrurybutwereeventuallyoccupyingtheremainingpodiumpositions.Brownlookedtohavesecuredsecond,butSullivanwasabletotaketheplaceonthelastlap.

AlargeJunior X30entrysawTaylorBelliniestablishadecentleadintheearlylapswithArchieFlackandHugoBentley-Ellisonthechase.Bentley-EllisgotpastFlackonlapfiveandthenmaderapidinroadsintoBellini’slead.WiththreelapstogoBentley-Elliswasahead,butwasexcludedfromtheresultsinpostracescrutineering.WithBellinireceivingafiveplacepenalty,itwasFlackwhotookthewinfromSamFaulknerandThomasPegram.

JosephTaylorandGeorgiDimitrovhadaracelongbattleinIame Cadet,withTaylorbeingpressedhardintheearlystages.Athalfdistance,itlookedlikehemighthaveshakenoffhischallenger,butDimotrovcamebackstronglyinthelatterpartoftherace.Thepaircrossedthelineseparatedbylessthanatenthofasecond.SuchwastheintensityoftheirbattlethatRashanChigorimbowasabletocloseinontheleaders,buttimeranoutforhimsohehadtobecontentwiththird.

SheaPearcegotthebetterofThomasPriorandDerekMorganatthestartofSenior X30, but soonfoundhimselfunderattack.Priormovedintotheleadonlapfiveandstayedtheretotheflag.MorganalsoprogressedatPearce’sexpense,butnevergotclosetotheleader.

TKM ExtremewasalwaysgoingtobewonbyStevenChisholmafterheseizedtheinitiativefromthestart.MichaelCornellwasoffthepaceforonceandhadtorelinquishsecondtoJoeStockford.Itlookedlikehemighthangontothird,butRossDarlingtonhadotherideasandgrabbedtheplaceoffCornellonthelastlap.

AntonStamps,MarcusPettandLiamFergusonwereonceagainthefrontrunnersinSenior Rotax. ThismonthitwasPett’sturntotakethewininwhatwasaratherprocessionalaffair.Fergusoncouldn’tmatchtheleader’space,buthadtoomuchinhandforStampswhofinishedadistantthird.

177 MasterswasanequallycomfortablewinforDerekWattsoverMarkReddingandDarrenWhaley.
