Prop a 4’ x 8’ insulation board on the wall. Project and trace the characters on pages 3-6 onto the board. Cut out the characters with a utility knife and paint. (For safety purposes, we recommend wearing leather gloves when using the utility knife. Never leave the utility knife where children can pick it up.) 2. Project and trace the RV camper on page 7 onto a second insulation board so that the RV measures approximately 4’ x 8’. Cut out and paint. 3. Cut out triangular easels from the scrap insulation board and attach to the back of the standees and RV cutouts to make them stand.

Happy Camper Character and RV Camper Instructions

1. Prop a 4’ x 8’ insulation board on the wall. Project and trace the characters on pages 3-6 onto the board. Cut out the characters with a utility knife and paint. 2. Project and trace the RV camper on page 7 onto a second insulation board so that the RV measures approximately 4’ x 8’. Cut out and paint.
3. Cut out triangular easels from the scrap insulation board and attach to the back of the standees and RV cutouts to make them stand.

1. With a saw, cut the 1” x 2“ x 8’ wood slat in half to get two 4’ sections.
2. Cut the 1” x 4“ x 8’ wood slat into eight 1’ sections.
3. Attach four of the 1’ slats to the base of the 4’ slat by nail-ing each 1’ slat onto each side of the 4’ slat, as shown.
4. Cover the 4’ wood post with foil tape.
5. Project and trace each sign on page 8 onto 20” x 30” white foam board, so that the signs are approximately 20” by 20”. Cut out and paint.
*Remember, these are only suggestions. This project should be fun and creative, so use supplies you have on hand for substitutions.

6. Attach the sign to the top of the post with tape.
