This is where you play with your dreidel. Give each player some gelt. Each one spins the dreidel.

Cook a potato pancake with your loved ones They are called latkes:Grate 1 pound of potatoes, squeeze out some of the liquid. Chop half a cup of onionMix potato and onion together with 1 egg.Heat ¼ cup oil in a 12 inch pan. Spoon 2 tablespoons of potato mixture and flatten to 3 in rounds. Cook 4 at a time. Cook on medium heat for five minutes or until golden brown on each side.Add more oil for each batch. Once cooked, put the latke on a paper towel to drain. Sprinkle salt over the latke. Eat with sour cream & applesauce on top.

Practice GratitudeTake the evening to reflect on all the reasons you have to be grateful. Think deeply about each reason. If you can, do this in the company of those you love, and after reflecting spend time talking about the reasons for your gratitude.

Give to children

Give to children in need.

If you have children, help them choose gifts for children and donate to your area’s local toy drive. Encourage your children to spend a portion of their holiday money or allowance on gifts for children in need.

Explore your heritage

Take time to share stories about your family heritage with your family members. If you do not know many, ask the elders in your family or research your family’s genealogy.
