    2.9 Wind load (W) The wind load shall be set appropriately considering the location, topography, ground surfacecondition at the site and the structural properties and section from of the structure. The decision of this load should refer to Vietnamese Technical Standards due to the natural influence.

    2.10 Earthquake Force (EQ) Earthquake effects shall be decided with considering the location of structure, geotechnical condition and characteristic period of structural. The decision of this forceshould refer to Vietnamese Technical Standards TCXDVN 375-2006.

    2.11 Impacting vehicle force (M) Basically, the guard fence for the column of viaduct should be installed to avoid the vehicle crash. If it is no guard fence, the impacting vehicle force shall be considered to design of the structure at above the ground 1.8m height and horizontally. The force shall be as follows,
