- Vietnam is ranked the 16 among 25 countries with high biodiversity- Vietnam biodiversity is sharply reduced by many causes-Vietnam has promulgated a range of legal documents - Participated almost key international conventions regarding to biodiversity- The existing legal system is still insufficient- MONRE was assigned to coordinate with other ministries and related ministerial agencies in drafting the Law to submit to the National Assembly. - The Biodiversity Law will be prepared in two steps
