HOMEWORK YEARS 4-6

WE have completed the Soundwaves Program – well 2

of the students have!!! Others will be working on

completing their Soundwaves Program this week.

Years 4 and 5 students will present their Leadership

Speeches on Wednesday afternoon of this week.

Years 6 will present their Speeches about their

Primary School days on Thursday. Our new student

leaders will be announced on the evening of the Year

6 Farewell, badges will be presented first Assembly in

2017. Year 6 will again present their Primary School

Days Speech to parents and community on the

evening of the Year 6 Farewell.

3MAPS principals met and submitted required School

Excellence Framework Data to School Education

Director. We have also completed our Principal

Professional Learning Plans , and our 3MAPS Learning

Milestones for the 2016 year into 2017.

Another day of organisation for 3MAPS Principals

Thursday 8th December as we set about completing

requirements for our 2017 School Plans. We will begin

Annual School Reports into new School Planning and

Reporting Online (SPaRO)

KINDER ORIENTATION

Kindergarten students for 2017 were with us for

Kitchen/Garden on Friday! It was great fun – but very

HOT!

PARENT INFORMATION EVENING

A parent orientation evening will be held from 6.00

pm to 7.30pm on Tuesday 6th December at

Camden Haven High School for parents of Year 6. The

evening will focus on providing you with the

information you need to give your child a successful

start to the year.

CHHS ORIENTATION DAY

P&C MEETING – 9TH DECEMBER

There have been a couple of questions lately raised

about the running of (non-controversial, but timely)

P&C Organisation. I have popped together a bundle of

information regarding this which will go home

separately with each Newsletter. Lots more info can

be found at http://pandc.org.au/ . It is time to go

through our P&C Procedures. Early next year before

AGM it would be great to have a revised Hannam Vale

everyone is well informed as to the roles and

responsibilities of the organisation within the school.

I emphasise again, this has arisen because it is time to

revise procedures

P&C News

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE

Our raffle will be drawn this Friday afternoon after the

School Celebration Assembly. Thank you to those in

our community who have made generous donations

for the raffle.

Our latest gift card is 2 hours of excavation work from

Kompara Earthworks valued at $200. We have also

received a goodies pack from Kendall Post Office.

There is still a lot of room in our hampers so you have

time to add to them before Friday.

One of our hampers will be donated to a local family

in need.

Tickets must be returned by Friday morning, sold or

unsold. Thanks for your support.

LUCKY PICK

Last week’s lucky number was 38 which was chosen by Alan Crutcher. Congratulations!

Don’t forget these are on sale at the office at $15

each. Hannah has already watched ours about 10

times!!! They are a great keepsake to look back on in
