Hand made soap in the classroom
Tutorial
Learning to live like global citizens
Firstly, we went shopping
We bought:10 kilos of glyceroilWater colors for soapsPerfumes for soapsAlcoholMolds
We also need:A cooking potA coffee potA hot plateA scaleA knifeA spoonA thermometerSome syringes
Let’s start!!!
This is glycerol.
We should cut it in pieces. It is very easy to cut it but we should always be careful.
Put it on the scale. For our molds we will need 300gr. of glycerol.
Put some water in the cooking put and let it boil. In the water put the coffee pot.
Add the glycerol in the coffee pot.
Add the glycerol in the coffee pot.

With the thermometer we will make sure temperature is 60˚ C.
Glycerol melts in 60˚C.
Now we will add color.
2-4 drops are enough!
Look at the color…
Finally, we will add the perfume. 4-8 drops are enough!
Spray the molds with alcohol.
Pour the mixture in the molds.
Spay again with alcohol.
In 20-30 minutes soap is ready to use it.
