“Tell The Good News”
“He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you
when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the
hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’” And
they remembered His words. Luke 24:6-8 (NKJV)
Christ, the Lord is ris’n today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heav’ns, and earth, reply, Alleluia!
“Christ the Lord is Risen Today ”
Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O Death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Dying once He all doth save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!
“Christ the Lord is Risen Today ”
Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids His rise, Alleluia!
Christ hath opened Paradise, Alleluia!
“Christ the Lord is Risen Today ”
Soar we now where Christ hath led, Alleluia!
Foll’wing our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!Ours the cross, the grave, the skies,
Alleluia!

When I survey the wondrous crossOn which the Prince of Glory diedMy richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride
“The Wonderful Cross”
Forbid it, Lord that I should boastSave in the death of Christ, my God
All the vain things that charm me most
I sacrifice them to His blood
“The Wonderful Cross”
See from His head, His hands, His feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled downDid e’er such love and sorrow meetOr thorns compose so rich a crown

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain
in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV)
“WHAT IS EASTER” Pastor Groover
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom
of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a
mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound,
and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put
on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and
this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is
swallowed up in victory." 55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is
your victory?"
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks
be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always
abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in
the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 (NKJV)
But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus
Christ. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable.
Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do
for the Lord is ever useless. 1 Corinthians 15:57-58 (NLT)
• Easter is God’s Signature Miracle. God’s Action
37 You know the events that took place throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John
preached: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and curing all who were
under the tyranny of the Devil, because God was with Him.
39 We ourselves are witnesses of everything He did in both the Judean country and in Jerusalem; yet they
killed Him by hanging Him on a tree. 40 God raised up this man on the third day and permitted Him to be seen, 41
not by all the people, but by us, witnesses appointed beforehand by
God, who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.
42 He commanded us to preach to the people, and to solemnly testify that He is the One appointed by God to be the
Judge of the living and the dead. Acts 10:37-42 (HCSB)
• Easter Is Proof Of Our Salvation, Resurrection and Rapture. God’s
Appropriations of Grace.
1 Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I
preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it.2 It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. 3 I passed on to you what
was most important and what
had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures
said.4 He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day,
just as the Scriptures said.5 He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve.6 After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some
have died.
Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles.8 Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I also saw him.9 For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I’m not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way I
persecuted God’s church.10 But whatever I am now, it is all because
God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results.
For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God
who was working through me by his grace.
1 Corinthians 15:1-10 (NLT)
• Easter Is An Appeal To Give Our Lives In Grateful Loving Service To
God.
57 But now in a single victorious stroke of Life, all three—sin, guilt, death—are gone, the gift of our Master, Jesus
Christ. Thank God! 58 With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your
ground. And don't hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is
a waste of time or effort. 1 Corinthians 15:57-58 (MSG)
Your Conclusions:
At the cross, God demonstrated His unswerving love to us (But God
proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us! Romans 5:8 (HCSB)).
Your Conclusions:
This Easter, Celebrate God’s Action (Miracle) in Raising Jesus from the
dead. Marvel In His Amazing Grace in your salvation, resurrection and
Rapture. Gratefully throw your life into loving service for Him.
