CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Gray MainCut 8 strips 5½" x WOF for Border 3.Cut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

12½" x 12½".

Orange MainCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

12½" x 12½" and 1 rectangle 9" x 12½".

Purple MainCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

12½" x 12½".

Gray OwlCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

12½" x 12½".

Orange OwlCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

12½" x 12½".

Purple OwlCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

Black Trick or TreatCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

White SpiderCut 5 strips 2½" x WOF. Cut the strips into 15 rectangles

2½" x 2½".Cut 6 strips 2½" x WOF. Sew the strips together and cut

Orange EyeCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

Black DamaskCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

12½" x 12½" and 4 rectangles 2" x 3½" for A1.

Orange DamaskCut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

12½" x 12½" and 1 rectangle 9" x 12½".

Purple DamaskCut 7 strips 2½" x WOF for Border 2.Cut 1 strip 12½" x WOF. Cut the strip into 1 square

12½" x 12½".

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to Quilt Center Diagram for placement of fabrics and blocks.

Pumpkin BlockUse the foundation piecing template, black damask piece A1, and white spider pieces A2 to create the stem. Sew a white spider 4" x 6" rectangle to each side of the stem to create the Stem Unit. Repeat to create 4 Stem Units.

Draw a line from corner to corner on the wrong side of 4 white spider 2½" squares. Place a white spider 2½" square on each corner of an assorted print 9" x 12½" rectangle and sew on the lines. Leave a ¼" seam allowance and trim excess to create the Pumpkin Unit. Press. Repeat to create 4 Pumpkin Units.

Sew a Stem Unit and a Pumpkin Unit together to create the Pumpkin Block. Repeat to create 4 Pumpkin Blocks.

Blocks and SashingRefer to the Quilt Center Diagram for block and sashing placement. Sew an assorted print 12½" square or a Pumpkin Block to a white spider 2½" x 12½" rectangle. Repeat to make a row with 4 blocks and 3 sashing rectangles. Make 5 block and sashing rows.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to the Quilt Center Diagram for row and sashing placement. Lay out the 5 block and sashing rows and the 4 white spider 2½" x 54½" sashing rectangles. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 68½". Top and bottom borders should be 58½".

Border 2Side borders should be 72½". Top and bottom borders should be 62½".

Border 3Side borders should be 76½". Top and bottom borders should be 72½".

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Ghouls & Goodies Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
