The aim of this presentation is to look at different films from the genre that your group have choose which

my is DRAMA. I study some films as you will see in the next slides. This movies helped me to

develop ideas for my group work, as we will mix a lot of

different ideas.

For this task in our groups we had to discuss what we would like our movies to be about- within our drama genre. We then got given a task to do a power points about three movie opening sequences that relate to our theme.

All of our ideas where mainly based upon teenage lifestyles, it was generally based upon drama conventions such as; drunken household, fostering; internet grooming and child abuse.

For our storyboards we decided that we are going to incorporate all our 3 ideas.Ideas would include:Depressed 15 year old (going through exams)Parental abuse (drunk step dad)MomBuilt up in estate

There are three people within my group , Alexa , Nkechi and I .

We all have very similar ideas, in our stories.

Tiara: my story was based on a girl being raised in a drunken household and with her trouble life style then gets fostered and changes her life for the better

Nkechi’s : story was based on a girl who used to turn to the internet to seek friends (going through a time of exams) and she then goes through internet grooming.

Alexa: story was based on child abuse.

In this movie a troubles teenager known as Precious in always troubled about her weight from her mom, and was then raped and had a child for her father.

This establishing shot shows that Precious is in a park scenery and her facial expression show that she is unhappy and doesn’t have any direction.

Plot?Vada Sultenfuss is an 11-year-old tomboy and a hypochondriac.
