Calculated velocity - gas rate needed to de-water a Barnett shale gas well running a bypass plunger. Used empirical

data to find a correlation between velocity and BWPD

o Reduced costs by creating a way to easily identify wells with over injection – identified at least 3 wells in 1 area of production potentially saving a minimum of $100,000 per year

o Built mathematical model that resulted in the creation of an easy to follow guide for field worke rs and
