Hale Centre Theatre - Technician Job Summary: Hale Centre Theatre is seeking Technicians in both our Jewel Box and Centre Stage Theatres. The Technician team brings stories to life through innovation, continual training and cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities: Our Technicians are responsible for the technical aspects of our shows to ensure a consistent and seamless theatrical experience for our Patrons. Basic Qualifications:

- Proven technical experience in live entertainment in at least one of the following disciplines:

§ Show Run Crews § Rigging § Carpentry § Lighting with Conventional and Moving Lights § Spotlight operation § Sound board operation

- Proven ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain equipment for theatrical and live entertainment venues.

- Understanding of electrical circuitry and basic carpentry skills. - Proven working knowledge of theatrical terminology and documentation. - Ability to work in an active team environment - Ability to adapt to a physically demanding role that encompasses frequent lifting,

climbing and standing for long periods of time and at various heights. - Positions require full availability (up to six days a week), including afternoons, nights,

weekends, and some holidays. Preferred Qualifications:

- Extensive Carpentry skills. - Experience Operating Scissor Lifts, Forklifts, etc. - Show Control/Automation experience - Advanced Rigging Experience and Certification - Live sound experience including; digital mixers, wireless mics and Qlab
