Sure Start Children’s Centres – Counselling Service
Why counselling?• The aim of counselling is to offer you some time to talk things through at a difficult time, so you do not have to struggle alone.• There are times in our lives when it can be hard to sort out our thoughts, or express our feelings, even to those close to us.• The role of a professionally trained and experienced counsellor, is to listen and support you without giving advice.• Counselling can help you work towards feeling ore in control, to help you make choices or decisions that affect your life.
Who is entitled to this free service?• The Counselling Service welcomes all parents and carers of children aged 0-5 who are actively engaged in Children’s Centre activities and live in Hertsmere leisure’s Children’s Centre areas.• No fees will be charged for Counselling but Sure Start do appreciate donations.
Is Counselling Confidential?• The appointment system is strictly confidential. Any phone calls or messages
